Client: The BusStop

Howard has very specific ideas about what he wants for his "multiconfigurable performance space", named The BusStop (undoubtably after the Metro Transit stop outside). He kept repeating the mantra "hand-made, well-made" at me when I brought him mockups, and I was convinced I'd never be able to capture what he was looking for.

But then I showed him this drawing—painstakingly coloured over the course of a few Bond films—and he loved it. Very rarely is it that my inability to properly apply perspective in an illustration comes in handy, but in this case, it actually worked in my favour, as it added to the fantastical, sort of surreal feeling that Howard wanted. (A magic bus, if you will.)
